     Phoebe Rebecca Elizabeth Elwina Finlay was born on 18 February 1862.² She was the daughter of John Borland Finlay.¹ She married Adolphus Frederick Stuart-Linton, son of Charles Alfred George Stuart-Linton and Margaret MacMahon, on 10 December 1878 at British Embassy, Paris, France^G.¹ She died on 18 February 1944 at age 82.¹
     From 10 December 1878, her married name became Stuart-Linton.¹

     John Borland Finlay lived at Finlayston House, Kittaning, Pennsylvania, U.S.A.^G.¹

     Charles Edward Traquair Stuart-Linton was born on 7 January 1884 at Nice, France^G.¹ He was the son of Adolphus Frederick Stuart-Linton and Phoebe Rebecca Elizabeth Elwina Finlay.¹ He married Inez Sargent Hanks, daughter of George Edward Hanks, on 23 November 1951.¹ He died between 1963 and 1964 at 2 Tudor City Place, Manhattan, New York City, New York, U.S.A.^G, without issue.¹

     Fryda Amy Bertha Stuart-Linton is the daughter of Adolphus Frederick Stuart-Linton and Phoebe Rebecca Elizabeth Elwina Finlay.¹ She married, firstly, Ernest Gagné in 1917.¹ She and Ernest Gagné were divorced in 1928.¹ She married, secondly, Oliver Paul Jeffreys Corwin in 1938.¹
     From 1917, her married name became Gagné.¹ From 1938, her married name became Corwin.¹ She was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.)¹

     Ernest Gagné married Fryda Amy Bertha Stuart-Linton, daughter of Adolphus Frederick Stuart-Linton and Phoebe Rebecca Elizabeth Elwina Finlay, in 1917.¹ He and Fryda Amy Bertha Stuart-Linton were divorced in 1928.¹
