     He was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (F.R.C.S.E.)¹

     Hope Hale Davis married Francis Claud Cockburn, son of Henry Cockburn and Elizabeth Gordon Stevenson.¹
     Her married name became Cockburn.¹
