     Louise Barbara Pakenham was the daughter of Admiral John Pakenham and Caroline Emily Popham.² She married Gerard Lake Brooks, son of Maj.-Gen. Joseph Brooks and Hon. Amabel Lake, on 20 October 1848.¹ She died circa 1886.¹
     From 20 October 1848, her married name became Brooks.
