     Thomas Gage was born in 1541.¹ He was the son of Sir Edward Gage and Elizabeth Parker.¹ He married Elizabeth Guilford, daughter of Sir Thomas Guilford.¹ He died in 1590.¹

     Sir Edward Gage was the son of Rt. Hon. Sir John Gage and Philippa Guildford.¹ He married Elizabeth Parker, daughter of John Parker.¹ He died in 1568.¹

     William Gage was the son of Sir John Gage and Eleanor St. Clere.¹ He married Agnes Bolney, daughter of Benjamin Bolney.¹ He died in 1496.¹
     He built house at West Firle, Sussex.¹

     Sir John Gage was the son of John Gage and Joan Sudgrove.¹ He married Eleanor St. Clere, daughter of Thomas St. Clere and Margaret de Lovayne.¹ He died on 30 September 1486.¹ He was also reported to have died on 30 September 1475.²
     He lived at Burstow, Surrey, England^G.¹ He acquired Burstow, Surrey and Penshurst, Kent by his marriage.¹

     John Gage was the son of John Gage.¹ He married Joan Sudgrove, daughter of John Sudgrove.¹ He died circa 1440.¹
