     He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Marines.¹ He lived in 1976 at Yelverton, Waverley Avenue, Fleet, Hampshire, England.¹

     Captain Henry Grattan was born on 19 February 1880.¹ He was the son of Colonel Henry Grattan and Fannie Sarah Susannah Ireland.^2,1 He married Alice Mary Wallace Robertson, daughter of Major Matthew Wallace Robertson, on 20 July 1921.¹ He died on 25 September 1966 at age 86.¹

     From 5 September 1946, her married name became Lawrence. She lived in 2003 at Ugley Green, Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹

     Lt.-Cdr. Peter Reginald Lawrence is the son of Commander Reginald Wilfred Lawrence.¹ He married Patricia Mary Dawson, daughter of Captain Henry Grattan and Alice Mary Wallace Robertson, on 5 September 1946.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.)¹

     David Neil Grattan Lawrence was born on 12 November 1954.¹ He is the son of Lt.-Cdr. Peter Reginald Lawrence and Patricia Mary Dawson.²
