     Commander Ralph Tindal was born on 27 December 1881.1 He was the son of Nicolas Tindal-Carill-Worsley and Elizabeth Carill-Worsley.1 He married Kathleen Mangan, daughter of Simon Mangan, on 9 July 1906.1 He died on 15 July 1966 at age 84.1
     He was given the name of Ralph Tindal-Carill-Worsley at birth.1 On 11 December 1913 his name was legally changed to Ralph Tindal.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1
