     Isabel Forbes was born on 16 October 1548.² She was the daughter of William Forbes, 7th Lord Forbes and Elizabeth Keith.¹ She married John Gordon, 3rd of Pitlurg, son of John Gordon, 4th of Auchieuchries, 2nd of Pitlurg and Janet Ogilvy, in 1567.¹ She died circa 19 March 1622.² She was buried on 22 March 1622.²
