     Violet Gordon Chase was born in 1866.² She married, firstly, Bonamy Dobrée, son of Bonamy Dobrée and Emma Mary Snell Chauncey, on 16 October 1883.¹ She married, secondly, Lt.-Col. Haydon D’Aubrey Potenger Taylor, son of Reverend Hayden Aldersey Taylor and Mary McCrea, in 1897.² She died in August 1907.¹
     From 16 October 1883, her married name became Dobrée.¹ From 1897, her married name became Taylor.²
