     W/Cdr. Bertie Rex O’Bryen Hoare was born on 6 June 1912.¹ He was the son of Cyril Bertie Edward O’Bryen Hoare and Isabel Mary Fielder.² He married Lucy Watson, daughter of Richard Nimmo Watson, on 22 December 1945.¹ He died on 26 March 1947 at age 34, following an air accident.¹
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War, and was mentioned in despatches three times.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross (D.F.C.) and bar.¹ He was awarded the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1942 and bar (1944.)¹ He gained the rank of Wing Commander in the Royal Air Force.¹

     Richard Nimmo Watson was registered as a Member, Royal College of Surgeons (M.R.C.S.)¹ He was registered as a Licentiate, Royal College of Physicians, London (L.R.C.P.)¹ He lived at Harrogate, Yorkshire, England.¹

     Lucy Watson was the daughter of Richard Nimmo Watson.² She married W/Cdr. Bertie Rex O’Bryen Hoare, son of Cyril Bertie Edward O’Bryen Hoare and Isabel Mary Fielder, on 22 December 1945.¹ She died on 21 June 1970.¹
     She gained the rank of Senior Officer in the Women’s Auxiliary Air Force.¹ From 22 December 1945, her married name became Hoare.

     Rosemary Verity O’Bryen Hoare was born posthumously on 1 November 1947.¹ She is the daughter of W/Cdr. Bertie Rex O’Bryen Hoare and Lucy Watson.² She married Nicholas Russell on 14 December 1989.¹
     From 14 December 1989, her married name became Russell. She lived in 2003 at Hardy-Langata, Nairobi, Kenya^G.¹

     Nicholas Russell married Rosemary Verity O’Bryen Hoare, daughter of W/Cdr. Bertie Rex O’Bryen Hoare and Lucy Watson, on 14 December 1989.¹

     Samantha Eva O’Bryen Russell was born on 3 July 1980.¹ She is the daughter of Nicholas Russell and Rosemary Verity O’Bryen Hoare.²

     Alexis Lucy O’Bryen Russell was born on 1 July 1986.¹ She is the daughter of Nicholas Russell and Rosemary Verity O’Bryen Hoare.²
