     He was educated at Gresham’s School, Holt, Norfolk, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He was Aide-de-Camp to the Governor and Commander-in-Chief Gibraltar between 1937 and 1939.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Norfolk Regiment.1
