[Tanganyika] in 1953.¹ He held the office of Attorney-General [Cyprus] between 1956 and 1960.¹ He was appointed Queen’s Counsel (Q.C.) [Cyprus] in 1957.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1960.¹
