     Margaret Elizabeth Horatia Hope was born on 24 November 1873.¹ She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. William Hope, V.C. and Margaret Jane Cunninghame Graham.² She married Major Francis Horatio Napier, son of Hon. William Napier and Louisa May Lloyd, on 26 April 1893.¹ She and Major Francis Horatio Napier were divorced in 1923.¹ She died in March 1947 at age 73.²
     From 26 April 1893, her married name became Napier.

     Major Francis Horatio Napier was born on 7 February 1861.² He was the son of Hon. William Napier and Louisa May Lloyd.² He married, firstly, Margaret Elizabeth Horatia Hope, daughter of Lt.-Col. William Hope, V.C. and Margaret Jane Cunninghame Graham, on 26 April 1893.¹ He and Margaret Elizabeth Horatia Hope were divorced in 1923.¹ He married, secondly, Isoline Richards Shotter, daughter of Frederick Barriff Shotter, on 2 October 1923.² He died on 10 September 1949 at age 88.²

     Bennet Sherard was born in 1649.² He was the son of Hon. Philip Sherard.³ He married Hon. Dorothy Fairfax, daughter of Henry Fairfax, 4th Lord Fairfax of Cameron and Frances Barwick.¹ He died in 1701.²
