     Of Thwaytehead in Furness fells, Lancashire; died ‘full of days’; willdated 1707, proved 1708. Called the elder to distinguish him from hisgrandson and executor. Named supervisor of the will of his cousinRobert Scale (SR379) of Bowkerstead 1681.
