     Hon. Anne Fairfax was the daughter of Charles Gregory Fairfax, 9th Viscount Fairfax of Emmeley and Hon. Mary Fairfax.¹ She died on 8 May 1793, unmarried.¹

     Hon. Alathea Fairfax is the daughter of William Fairfax, 8th Viscount Fairfax of Emmeley and Elizabeth Gerard.¹ She married Ralph Pigott.¹
     Her married name became Pigott.¹

     Ralph Pigott married Hon. Alathea Fairfax, daughter of William Fairfax, 8th Viscount Fairfax of Emmeley and Elizabeth Gerard.¹

     Nathaniel Pigott is the son of Ralph Pigott and Hon. Alathea Fairfax.¹

     Arthur Hazlerigg was born on 31 March 1873.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Thomas Maynard Hazlerigg and Margaret Walker-Drummond.¹ He died on 13 May 1900 at age 27 at Mafeking, South Africa^G, wounds received in action.¹
     He fought in the Siege of Mafeking in 1900.¹

     Lt.-Col. Thomas Hazlerigg was born on 1 June 1877.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Thomas Maynard Hazlerigg and Margaret Walker-Drummond.¹ He married Edith Violet McCheane, daughter of Lt.-Col. William Henry McCheane, on 17 March 1903.¹ He died on 15 March 1935 at age 57.¹
     He fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1901.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Army Service Corps.¹ He fought in the First World War, and was mentioned in despatches.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1918.¹

     Lt.-Col. William Henry McCheane gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Marines Light Infantry.¹

     Edith Violet McCheane was the daughter of Lt.-Col. William Henry McCheane.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Thomas Hazlerigg, son of Lt.-Gen. Thomas Maynard Hazlerigg and Margaret Walker-Drummond, on 17 March 1903.¹ She died on 9 July 1959.¹
     From 17 March 1903, her married name became Hazlerigg.

     Arthur William Hazlerigg was born on 5 February 1904.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Thomas Hazlerigg and Edith Violet McCheane.¹ He married, firstly, Marjorie Dorothea Turner, daughter of Colonel George Frederick Brown Turner, on 17 June 1935.¹ He and Marjorie Dorothea Turner were divorced in 1946.¹ He married, secondly, Jane Wilson, daughter of David Wilson, on 16 June 1947.¹ He died on 16 March 1987 at age 83.¹
     He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, Kent, England^G.¹ He was educated at Uppingham School, Uppingham, Rutland, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Artillery.¹ He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1947 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹

     Colonel George Frederick Brown Turner was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹
