     George Augustus Vaughan was born on 7 September 1833.1 He was the son of Hon. George Lawrence Vaughan and Mary Josephine Roche O’Shea.1 He married Laura Mary Moore, daughter of Charles Moore, on 12 August 1862.1 He died on 26 September 1914 at age 81.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 33rd Regiment.1

Laura Mary Moore1

     He gained the rank of Major in the 20th Hussars.1 He was Temporary Lieutenant-Colonel of the 22nd Battalion, Lancashire Fusiliers.1
