     Eleanor Cornwallis is the daughter of Thomas Cornwallis.2 She married Sir Robert Maude, 1st Bt., son of Anthony Maude and Alice Hartstonge, in January 1718.1

Thomas Maude, 1st and last Baron de Montalt of Hawarden1

     Thomas Maude, 1st and last Baron de Montalt of Hawarden was born circa 1727.1 He was the son of Sir Robert Maude, 1st Bt. and Eleanor Cornwallis.2 He died on 17 May 1777, unmarried.1
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Maude [I., 1705] on 4 August 1750.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Tipperary between 1761 and 1776.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Tipperary in 1765.1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Ireland] in 1768.1 He was created 1st Baron de Montalt of Hawarden, co. Tipperary [Ireland] on 18 July 1776.1 On his death, his Barony expired.1

     John Vaughan was born circa 1752.2 He was the son of Richard Vaughan.2 He married Hon. Elizabeth Letitia Maude, daughter of Cornwallis Maude, 1st Viscount Hawarden and Letitia Vernon, on 16 June 1781.1 He died in 1804.2
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) between 1779 and 1784.2 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Carmarthenshire in 1780.2
