Sir Sapcote Harington1

     Sir Sapcote Harington was the son of Sir James Harington, 1st Bt. and Frances Sapcote.2 He married, secondly, Jane Woodward, daughter of Sir John Woodward.1 He married, firstly, Jane Samwell, daughter of Sir William Samwell and Jane Skipwith, on 19 June 1610 at Upton, Northamptonshire, England.1,3 He died in 1629.4

James Harington1

     James Harington was born on 3 January 1611.2 He was the son of Sir Sapcote Harington and Jane Samwell.3 He died on 11 September 1677 at age 66, without issue.1,2
     He wrote the book Oceana.1 He held the office of Groom of the Bedchamber to King Charles I.1
