     Johann von Isenburg und Limburg was born before 1261. He was the son of Dietrich I Graf von Isenburg und Limburg and Adelheid von Sponheim-Starkenburg und Sayn.¹ He married Agnes von Reifferscheidt-Wildenberg.¹ He died before 1277.¹

     Heinrich Graf von Limburg-Isenburg was the son of Dietrich I Graf von Isenburg und Limburg and Adelheid von Sponheim-Starkenburg und Sayn.¹ He died after 1246.

     Hon. William Napier Bruce was born on 15 January 1858.¹ He was the son of Henry Austin Bruce, 1st Baron Aberdare of Duffryn and Norah Creina Blanche Napier.¹ He married Emily McMurdo, daughter of General Sir William Montagu Scott McMurdo and Susan Napier, on 5 August 1882.¹ He died on 20 March 1936 at age 78.¹
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.¹ He was educated at Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He was a barrister in 1880.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1905.¹ He held the office of Second Secretary of the Board of Education.¹ He held the office of Pro-Chancellor of the University of Wales between 1928 and 1934.¹ He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.) by University of Wales, Wales^G.¹ He was appointed Companion of Honour (C.H.) in 1935.¹

     Emily McMurdo was the daughter of General Sir William Montagu Scott McMurdo and Susan Napier.^1,2 She married Hon. William Napier Bruce, son of Henry Austin Bruce, 1st Baron Aberdare of Duffryn and Norah Creina Blanche Napier, on 5 August 1882.¹ She died on 15 December 1937.¹
     Her married name became Bruce.

     General Sir William Montagu Scott McMurdo married Susan Napier, daughter of Sir Charles Napier and Anastasia (?), in 1844.² He died in 1894.²
     He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.)¹

     Major William Fox Bruce was born on 7 August 1883.¹ He was the son of Hon. William Napier Bruce and Emily McMurdo.¹ He married Sibyl Lyon, daughter of Major Alfred Owen Lyon, on 7 December 1921.¹ He died on 27 November 1982 at age 99 at Swindon, Wiltshire, England.²
     He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Signals, Territorial Army.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches three times.¹ He gained the rank of Brevet-Colonel in the Royal Signals, Territorial Army.¹ He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1918.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Signals, Territorial Army.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He was Deputy Chief Inspector of Fisheries, Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries.¹ He was awarded the Royal Humane Society Medal bronze.¹

     Sibyl Lyon was the daughter of Major Alfred Owen Lyon.¹ She married, firstly, Major Francis Maxwell Chenevix Trench, son of Colonel Charles Chenevix Trench and Emily Mary Lefroy, on 28 March 1914.² She married, secondly, Major William Fox Bruce, son of Hon. William Napier Bruce and Emily McMurdo, on 7 December 1921.¹ She died on 2 March 1954.¹
     From 28 March 1914, her married name became Chenevix Trench. From 7 December 1921, her married name became Bruce.

     Major Alfred Owen Lyon lived at Elm Park Gardens, London, England^G.²

     Major Francis Maxwell Chenevix Trench was born on 23 September 1879.² He was the son of Colonel Charles Chenevix Trench and Emily Mary Lefroy.² He married Sibyl Lyon, daughter of Major Alfred Owen Lyon, on 28 March 1914.² He died on 31 October 1914 at age 35, killed in action.²
     He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Field Artillery.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.²
