     He was Gentleman of the Privy Chamber to King Charles II.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Flintshire.¹ He held the office of Commissioner of the Navy.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Hanmer [E., 1620] in 1678.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the Williamite Regiment.¹ He fought in the Battle of the Boyne in 1690.¹

     Admiral Charles Hardy was born in 1715.¹ He married, firstly, Mary Tate in July 1749.¹ He married, secondly, Catherine Stanyan on 4 January 1759.¹ He died on 18 May 1780.¹

     Bertie Entwisle Jarvis was born on 31 July 1793.² He was the son of Thomas Jarvis and Jane Whitehead.² He was baptised on 22 January 1794.² He married, firstly, Lucy Brasier, daughter of Kilner Brooke Brasier and Mary Creagh, on 23 November 1843 at Watergrass Hill, County Cork, Ireland.^1,2 He married, secondly, Martha Elliott Oliver on 6 December 1859 at The Cathedral, Antigua.² He died on 15 October 1862 at age 69, at sea.²
     He lived at Antigua^G.¹ He held the office of President of the Council [Antigua] in 1859.²
