     Jessie Helen Gunning was born on 10 April 1870.2 She was the daughter of Colonel John Campbell Gunning and Mary Anne Boyson.3 She was baptised on 29 June 1870 at Thyet Myo, West Bengal, IndiaG.2 She married Colonel Leonard Wilkinson Cleveland Kerrich, son of General Walter d’Oyly Kerrich and Louisa Jane Cleveland, on 24 September 1891 at Christ Church, Lancaster Gate, London, England.1,4 She died on 7 January 1949 at age 78.1
     From 24 September 1891, her married name became Kerrich.

     He gained the rank of Colonel in the 28th Light Cavalry, Indian Army.1
