     Sir Percy Walter Greenaway, 1st Bt. was born on 11 June 1874.¹ He was the son of Daniel Greenaway.² He married Lydie Amy Burdick, daughter of James Burdick, on 17 April 1907.¹ He died on 25 November 1956 at age 82.¹
     He was chairman OF Daniel Greenaway & Sons, printers and stationers.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the City of London.¹ He held the office of Alderman of London in 1923.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of the City of London between 1931 and 1932.¹ He was appointed Knight Bachelor in 1932.¹ He held the office of Lord-Mayor of London between 1932 and 1933.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Greenaway, of Coombe, co. Surrey [U.K.] on 23 October 1933.¹

     Lydie Amy Burdick was the daughter of James Burdick.² She married Sir Percy Walter Greenaway, 1st Bt., son of Daniel Greenaway, on 17 April 1907.¹ She died on 1 March 1962.¹
     From 19 April 1907, her married name became Greenaway.

     Alan Pearce Greenaway was born on 25 November 1913.¹ He was the son of Sir Percy Walter Greenaway, 1st Bt. and Lydie Amy Burdick.² He married Patricia Frances Wells, daughter of Sir Frederick Michael Wells, 1st and last Bt., on 2 October 1948.¹ He died on 9 January 1994 at age 80.¹
     He was educated at Canford School, Wimborne, Dorset, England^G.¹ He was High Sheriff of the City of London between 1962 and 1963.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the City of London in 1964.¹ He held the office of Alderman of London in 1965.¹
