Sir Jacobus Arnoldus Combrinck Graaff1 

Sir Jacobus Arnoldus Combrinck Graaff was born on 4 March 1863.1 He was the son of Petrus Novbertus Graaff and Anna Elizabeth de Villiers.3 He married Susan Elsabie Maria Theunisson, daughter of J. W. Hurten Theunisson, on 22 May 1889.1 He died on 5 April 1927 at age 64.1
He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.)1 He held the office of Member of the Legislative Council (M.L.C.) [Cape of Good Hope] between 1903 and 1910.1 He held the office of Member of the Senate [Union of South Africa] between 1910 and 1927.1 He held the office of Minister without portfolio [South Africa] in 1913.1 He held the office of Minister of Public Works, Posts and Telegraphs [South Africa] between 1920 and 1921.1 He lived at Bordeaux, Beach Road, Sea Point, Cape Province, South AfricaG.1
