     Sir Nicholas Annesley Marler Thompson, 2nd Bt. was born on 19 March 1947.² He is the son of Sir Richard Hilton Marler Thompson, 1st Bt. and Anne Christabel de Vere Annesley.² He married Venetia Catherine Heathcote, daughter of John Horace Broke Heathcote and Dorelle Geraldine Rice, in 1982.²
     He was educated at King’s School, Canterbury, Kent, England^G.² He graduated from Kent University, Kent, England, in 1969 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He was a practising solicitor in 1973.³ He was member of the Westminster City Council in 1973.² He held the office of Deputy Lord Mayor of Westminster between 1983 and 1984.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Thompson, of Reculver, Kent [U.K., 1963] on 15 July 1999.¹ He lived in 2003 at Maxgate, George Road, Kingston upon Thames, Surrey, England.²

     Norman Richard Heathcote was born on 25 May 1914.¹ He is the son of Arthur Ridley Heathcote and Margaret Georgina Broke.² He married Margaret Enid Burnett, daughter of Alan Keith Burnett, on 24 August 1946.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹

     Alan Keith Burnett lived at Illovo Beach, Natal, South Africa.¹

     Margaret Enid Burnett is the daughter of Alan Keith Burnett.² She married Norman Richard Heathcote, son of Arthur Ridley Heathcote and Margaret Georgina Broke, on 24 August 1946.¹
     From 24 August 1946, her married name became Heathcote.

     Richard John Heathcote was born on 17 January 1951.¹ He is the son of Norman Richard Heathcote and Margaret Enid Burnett.²

     Ila Margaret Heathcote was born on 2 July 1912.¹ She was the daughter of Arthur Ridley Heathcote and Margaret Georgina Broke.² She married Lt.-Cdr. Walter Dermot Muspratt, son of Reverend Walter Muspratt, on 7 May 1938.¹ She and Lt.-Cdr. Walter Dermot Muspratt were divorced in 1951.¹ She died on 2 August 1961 at age 49.¹
     From 7 May 1938, her married name became Muspratt.
