Sir Christopher Herbert Gibson, 3rd Bt. was born on 2 February 1921.1 He was the son of Sir Christopher Herbert Gibson, 2nd Bt. and Dorothy Edith Orme Bruce.2 He married Lilian Lake Young, daughter of Dr. George Byron Young, on 16 August 1941.1 He died on 26 June 1994 at age 73.1
He was educated at St. Cyprian’s School, Eastbourne, Sussex, EnglandG.1 He was educated at St. George’s College, Argentina.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 28th Canadian Armed Regiment.1 He was a sales representative with National Homes Ltd.1 He was manager of Leach’s Argentine Estates.1 He was British Columbia Canada manager for Encyclopaedia Britannica between 1952 and 1955.1 He was a design draughtsman with Babcock and Wilcox USA between 1956 and 1957.1 He was a tea plantation manager and poultry farmer.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Gibson, of Linconia in the Republic of Argentina [U.K., 1931] on 20 July 1966.1
