     He was with the Fiji Civil Service.¹ He was registered as a Member, Institute of Electrical Engineering (M.I.E.E.)¹

     Lt.-Cdr. Edward Walter Monckton was born on 25 September 1903.¹ He was the son of Cecil Charles Fisk Monckton and Dorothy Tatham Hughes.² He married Margaret Frances Radcliffe, daughter of Brig.-Gen. Frederick Walter Radcliffe, on 8 October 1932.¹ He died on 20 April 1999 at age 95.¹
     He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1944.¹

     Brig.-Gen. Frederick Walter Radcliffe married Mabel Gertrude Steward.²

     Christopher John Edward Monckton was born on 21 April 1942.¹ He is the son of Lt.-Cdr. Edward Walter Monckton and Margaret Frances Radcliffe.² He married, firstly, Judith Benson in 1965.¹ He and Judith Benson were divorced in 1976.¹ He married, secondly, Anne Ide circa 1976.¹
     He was educated at Gordonstoun School, Elgin, Morayshire, Scotland^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, Devon, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Midshipman in the Royal Navy.¹ He lived in 2003 at Craigower Lodge, Newtonmore, Inverness-shire, Scotland^G.¹

     Judith Benson married Christopher John Edward Monckton, son of Lt.-Cdr. Edward Walter Monckton and Margaret Frances Radcliffe, in 1965.¹ She and Christopher John Edward Monckton were divorced in 1976.¹
