     Captain Cecil Charles Acland Allen was born on 15 December 1894.2 He was the son of Charles Peter Allen and Evelina Caroline Barker.2 He married Eirene Marjorie Hay-Dinwoody, daughter of Reverend Leofric Matthews Hay-Dinwoody and Margaret Hay.1,2 He died on 28 March 1960 at age 65 at Corndean Hall, Winchcombe, Gloucestershire, England.2
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1
