     Mary Elizabeth Annie Dunne used the pen-name of George Egerton.¹ Her name was legally changed to Mary Chavelita Dunne.¹ From October 1888, her married name became Higginson.¹ From 30 November 1891, her married name became Clairmonte.¹ From 11 July 1901, her married name became Bright.¹

     Captain John Joseph Dunne was born in 1837.¹ He married Isabella George-Bynon.¹ He died on 5 February 1910.¹

     Isabella George-Bynon was born in 1831.¹ She married Captain John Joseph Dunne.¹ She died on 26 March 1875.¹
     Her married name became Dunne.¹ She was given the name of Elizabeth George at birth.²

     Egerton Tertius Clairmonte was born on 11 February 1862 at Cope, Eastern Cape, South Africa^G.¹ He was the son of Adolphus Julian Clairmonte and Catherine Barber.¹ He married Mary Elizabeth Annie Dunne, daughter of Captain John Joseph Dunne and Isabella George-Bynon, on 30 November 1891 at The Strand, London, England^G.¹ He and Mary Elizabeth Annie Dunne were divorced on 18 February 1901.¹ He died on 24 March 1901 at age 39 at Christian Hospital, Los Angeles, California, U.S.A.¹
     He wrote the book The Africander: a Plain Tale of Colonial Life, published 1896.¹

     Reginald Edward Golding Bright was born on 11 December 1874 at Lewisham, Kent, England^G.¹ He was the son of Dr. John Meaburn Bright and Fanny Kenyon Mallinson.¹ He married Mary Elizabeth Annie Dunne, daughter of Captain John Joseph Dunne and Isabella George-Bynon, on 11 July 1901 at London, England^G.¹ He died on 14 April 1941 at age 66 at London, England^G.¹

     Dr. John Meaburn Bright was born on 12 December 1833.¹ He married, firstly, Fanny Kenyon Mallinson on 2 August 1856.¹ He married, secondly, Katherine Armstrong on 22 July 1890.¹ He died on 11 January 1899 at age 65.¹

     Fanny Kenyon Mallinson was born circa 1836.¹ She married Dr. John Meaburn Bright on 2 August 1856.¹ She died on 16 July 1888.¹
     From 2 August 1856, her married name became Bright.¹
