Sir Constantine Phipps was baptised on 12 December 1658.1 He was the son of Francis Phipps and Anne Sharpe.1 He married Catherine Sawyer, daughter of George Sawyer, on 10 October 1684.1 He died on 9 October 1723 at age 64.1
He was a practising barrister in 1684.1 He was agent for New England between 1701 and 1710.1 He held the office of Bencher in 1706.1 He was agent for St. Kitts in 1709.1 He was appointed Knight in 1710.1 He held the office of Lord Chancellor [Ireland] between 1710 and 1714.1 He had nine other children.1
