East Lothian [U.K., 1929] on 28 September 1945.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for East Lothian in 1951.¹ He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.) in 1960.¹

     Godfrey Fitzherbert Wright was born on 11 December 1874.² He was the son of Philip Wright and Alice Elizabeth Bury.² He married Maud Frances Bateman Wright, daughter of Frederick Wright and Ada Joyce Bateman, on 26 July 1906.² He died on 12 December 1947 at age 73.²
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England^G.² He was educated at King’s College London, London, England^G.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Derbyshire.¹ He lived at Whiddon, Bovey Tracey, Devon, England^G.¹

     Mary Elizabeth Wright was the daughter of Godfrey Fitzherbert Wright and Maud Frances Bateman Wright.^2,3 She married Lt.-Col. Sir Henry Russell Ford, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Patrick Johnston Ford, 1st Bt. and Jessie Hamilton Field, on 8 August 1936.¹ She died on 28 March 1997.
     Mary Elizabeth Wright also went by the nick-name of Molly.¹ From 8 August 1936, her married name became Ford.
