     She graduated from Aberdeen University, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland^G, in 1958 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ From 29 October 1960, her married name became Hardie. She lived in 2003 at House of Newe, Strathdon, Aberdeenshire, Scotland^G.¹

     George Mcintosh Hardie is the son of John Hardie.² He married Elspeth Ann Forbes, daughter of Sir John Stewart Forbes of Newe, 6th Bt. and Agnes Jessie Wilson-Farquharson, on 29 October 1960.¹

     David John Hardie was born on 10 April 1965.¹ He was the son of George Mcintosh Hardie and Elspeth Ann Forbes.² He died on 15 February 1966.¹

     Jonathan Forbes Hardie was born on 14 March 1967.¹ He is the son of George Mcintosh Hardie and Elspeth Ann Forbes.²

     Katharine Ann Hardie was born on 24 May 1961.¹ She is the daughter of George Mcintosh Hardie and Elspeth Ann Forbes.² She married David Billany in 1990.¹
     From 1990, her married name became Billany.

     David Billany married Katharine Ann Hardie, daughter of George Mcintosh Hardie and Elspeth Ann Forbes, in 1990.¹

     Ciaran Andrew Billany was born in 1990.¹ He is the son of David Billany and Katharine Ann Hardie.²

     Roseanna Kirsten Billany was born in 1992.¹ She is the daughter of David Billany and Katharine Ann Hardie.²

     Ruth Mary Hardie was born on 28 January 1964.¹ She is the daughter of George Mcintosh Hardie and Elspeth Ann Forbes.²
