Sir Nigel Colin Forbes Adam, 5th Bt. was born on 7 December 1930.1 He was the son of Colin Gurden Forbes Adam and Hon. Irene Constance Lawley.2 He married, firstly, Teresa Hermione Idena Robertson, daughter of Commander David Lambert Robertson and Felicity Douglas Tomlin, on 7 May 1954.1 He and Teresa Hermione Idena Robertson were divorced.3 He married, secondly, Mildred Malise Hare Armitage, daughter of Colonel George Armitage, in 1987.1 He died on 8 January 2022 at age 91.3
