     From 9 June 1848, her married name became Gordon.²

     Georgina Charlotte Abercromby was baptised on 28 August 1822 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Robert Abercromby of Birkenbog, 5th Bt. and Elizabeth Stephenson Douglas.¹

     Sophia Ann Adelaide Abercromby was baptised on 14 May 1831 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Robert Abercromby of Birkenbog, 5th Bt. and Elizabeth Stephenson Douglas.¹ She married, firstly, Alexander Henry Abercromby Hamilton, son of A. Hamilton Hamilton, on 19 September 1854 at Banffshire, Scotland.² She and Alexander Henry Abercromby Hamilton were divorced in 1862.² She married, secondly, Lt.-Col. John Wilson Rimington, son of James Rimington and Sarah Ward, in July 1864 at St. George’s Hanover Square, London, England.²
     From 19 September 1854, her married name became Hamilton.² From July 1864, her married name became Rimington.²

     Sir William Paxton lived at Middleton Hall, Carmarthenshire, Wales^G.¹

     Maj.-Gen. Archibald Graham Wavell was born on 18 November 1843.¹ He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Arthur Goodall Wavell and Anne Paxton.¹ He married Lillie Percival, daughter of R. N. Percival, on 7 November 1880.² He died on 2 March 1935 at age 91.¹
     He was commissioned in 1863.³ He fought in the Zulu War in 1879.² He fought in the Basuto Campaign between 1880 and 1881.² He fought in the Tambookie Campaign between 1880 and 1881.² He gained the rank of Major in the Norfolk Regiment.² He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)³ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in 1890 in the Royal Highland Regiment.² He gained the rank of Colonel in 1895.² He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1900, where he was mentioned in despatches.² He was Chief of Staff of the 3rd Army Corps between 1901 and 1902.² He retired from the military in 1902, with the rank of Major-General.² He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)² He lived at Little Somborne, Ringwood, Hampshire, England^G.³

     Jose Antonio Iznaga y Borrell was born on 8 January 1790 at Trinidad, Cuba^G.¹ He was the son of Pedro José Iznaga y Perez de Vargas Sotomayor and María del Carmen de Borrell y Padrón.² He was baptised on 8 January 1792 at Parraquial Mayor de Trinidad, Cuba.¹ He married Maria Francisca del Valle y Castillo, daughter of Fernando Alfonso del Valle y Lorente and Ana Antonia Castillo y Barroso, on 30 July 1814.¹ He died on 12 January 1827 at age 37 at Kingston, Jamaica^G.¹

     Maria Francisca del Valle y Castillo was born on 15 October 1796 at Sancti Spritius, Cuba^G.¹ She was the daughter of Fernando Alfonso del Valle y Lorente and Ana Antonia Castillo y Barroso.¹ She was baptised on 28 October 1796 at Sancti Spritius, Cuba^G.¹ She married Jose Antonio Iznaga y Borrell, son of Pedro José Iznaga y Perez de Vargas Sotomayor and María del Carmen de Borrell y Padrón, on 30 July 1814.¹

     Fernando Alfonso del Valle y Lorente married Ana Antonia Castillo y Barroso.¹

     Ana Antonia Castillo y Barroso married Fernando Alfonso del Valle y Lorente.¹

     Ana Antonia Iznaga y del Valle was born in 1815 at Sancti Spritius, Cuba^G.¹ She was the daughter of Jose Antonio Iznaga y Borrell and Maria Francisca del Valle y Castillo.¹
