Robert Campbell Lloyd Fitzwilliams was born on 9 February 1909.2,3 He was the son of Duncan Campbell Lloyd Fitzwilliams.1 He married, firstly, Natalie Jura Stratford Mardall, daughter of Colonel George Stratford Mardall, in 1949 at Cape Town, Cape Province, South AfricaG.2 He married, secondly, Mary Goddard, daughter of William Goddard, after 1965.1 He died in June 2001 at age 92 at Kensington, London, England.2,3
He fought in the Second World War, in Norway, North Africa, Palestine and Germany, and was mentioned in despatches (1942.)2 He gained the rank of Major in the 51st HAA Regiment.2 He was an executive with United Dominions.2 He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)2

Natalie Jura Stratford Mardall was born in 1907.1 She was the daughter of Colonel George Stratford Mardall.1 She married Robert Campbell Lloyd Fitzwilliams, son of Duncan Campbell Lloyd Fitzwilliams, in 1949 at Cape Town, Cape Province, South AfricaG.1 She died in 1965.1
She was an artist serving with the Admiralty during the Second World War.1 From 1949, her married name became Fitzwilliams.2
