     William Richard Harding-Newman was born on 20 December 1980.¹ He is the son of Nigel Hamilton Harding-Newman and Sarah Amanda Elsden.¹

     Thomas Harding-Newman was born on 8 December 1982.¹ He is the son of Nigel Hamilton Harding-Newman and Sarah Amanda Elsden.¹

     Sir Hugh Lowther was born in 1460.¹ He was the son of Sir Hugh Lowther and Mabel Lancaster.¹ He married Anne Threlkeld, daughter of Sir Lancelot Threlkeld and Margaret de Bromflete.¹ He died in 1511.¹
     He was appointed Knight, Order of the Bath (K.B.) in 1502.²

     Sir Hugh Lowther was born circa 1420.¹ He was the son of Sir Hugh Lowther and Margaret de Derwentwater.¹ He married Mabel Lancaster, daughter of Sir William Lancaster and Margaret Strickland.¹ He died in 1476.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) in 1449.² He held the office of Sheriff of Cumberland in 1456.²
