     Lionel Sherbrooke Osmaston was born on 20 October 1870.² He was the son of John Osmaston and Florence Mary Rice.³ He married Selina Fanny Plumptre, daughter of John Bridges Plumptre and Elizabeth Wright, on 26 February 1897.¹ He died on 29 March 1969 at age 98.¹
     He was educated at Trent College, Trent, Derbyshire, England^G.² He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England^G.² He was educated at Royal Indian Engineering College, Cooper’s Hill, Surrey, England^G.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Gloucestershire.¹ He was with the Indian Imperial Forest Service.² He was Deputy-Surveyor of the New Forest between 1925 and 1931.¹ He lived in 1952 at Old House, Barham, Kent, England^G.²

     Robert Lionel Osmaston was born in 1903.¹ He was the son of Lionel Sherbrooke Osmaston and Selina Fanny Plumptre.² He married Dorothy Ward, daughter of Albert Edward Ward, in 1945.¹ He died on 10 July 1994.¹
