     Isabella Black was born in 1840.1 She was the daughter of Dr. Thomas Black and Charlotte Leatham.1 She married Robert Tarver Firebrace, son of William Firebrace, in 1858.1 She died in 1891.1
     From 1858, her married name became Firebrace.1 In 1872 a court hearing was held for a divorce on the grounds of Isabella’s adultery, but she was acquitted.
