     Donald Farquharson was born circa 1684.¹ He was the son of Francis Farquharson of Finzean and Margaret Arbuthnot.² He married, firstly, Margaret Souper, daughter of William Souper.¹ He married, secondly, Agnes Fleming.¹ He died in September 1751.¹
     He was Comptroller of Customs in 1733 at Campbeltown, Argyllshire, Scotland^G.¹ He lived at Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland^G.¹

     Margaret Souper is the daughter of William Souper.² She married Donald Farquharson, son of Francis Farquharson of Finzean and Margaret Arbuthnot.¹
     She lived Aberdeen.¹ Her married name became Farquharson.

     Francis Farquharson of Clachaig was born circa 1717.¹ He was the son of Donald Farquharson and Margaret Souper.² He died on 17 April 1787.¹
     He was a merchant at Campbeltown, Argyllshire, Scotland^G.¹

     Archibald Farquharson of Finzean was the son of Francis Farquharson of Clachaig.² He married, firstly, Mary Campbell, daughter of Duncan Campbell, 4th of Sunderland.¹ He married, secondly, Christian Spring on 27 February 1792.¹ He died on 8 March 1796.¹
     On 8 July 1789 he was served heir to his 1st cousin once removed.¹

     Christian Spring was born circa 1767.² She married Archibald Farquharson of Finzean, son of Francis Farquharson of Clachaig, on 27 February 1792.¹ She died on 30 May 1849 at Auchinhove Cottage, Lumphanan, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.^1,2
     From 27 February 1792, her married name became Farquharson.

     Archibald Farquharson of Finzean was born on 6 August 1793.¹ He was the son of Archibald Farquharson of Finzean and Christian Spring.² He married Frances Russel, daughter of Francis Russel of Blackhall, on 16 September 1814.¹ He died on 14 May 1841 at age 47, without issue.¹
     On 17 December 1796 he was served heir to his father.¹ He was Fiars Juror of Aberdeenshire in 1815.¹ On 10 July 1826 he was again served heir to his father.¹

     Francis Russel of Blackhall lived at Blackhall, Strachan, Scotland^G.¹

     Frances Russel was born circa 1792.² She was the daughter of Francis Russel of Blackhall.³ She married Archibald Farquharson of Finzean, son of Archibald Farquharson of Finzean and Christian Spring, on 16 September 1814.¹ She died on 3 July 1847 at Arbeadie Cottage, Banchory, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.²
     From 16 September 1814, her married name became Farquharson.

     John Farquharson of Finzean was the son of Francis Farquharson of Clachaig.² He died on 17 February 1849, unmarried.¹
     On 22 May 1843 he was served heir to his nephew.¹
