     From April 1960, her married name became Sheldon.

     Sir William Alan Fairlie-Cuninghame of Robertland, 15th Bt. was born on 31 January 1893.¹ He was the son of Sir William Edward Fairlie-Cuninghame of Robertland, 13th Bt. and Georgiana Maud Macartney.² He married Irene Alice Terry, daughter of Henry Margrave Terry, on 2 July 1929.¹ He died in 1981.¹
     He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 5th Pioneer Battalion, Australian Imperial Forces.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1919.¹ He graduated from Sydney University, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia^G, with a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.)¹ He succeeded as the 15th Baronet Cuningham, of Robertland, co. Ayr [N.S., 1630] on 7 February 1939.¹ He was Research Officer, Commonwealth Science Industrial Research Organisation for Meteorology between 1943 and 1958.¹

     John Hastings Fairlie-Cuninghame was born in 1899.¹ He was the son of Sir William Edward Fairlie-Cuninghame of Robertland, 13th Bt. and Georgiana Maud Macartney.² He married Margaret Ruth Woodhill, daughter of Charles Woodhill, in 1934.¹ He died in September 1997.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Australian Imperial Forces.¹ He graduated from Sydney University, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia^G, with a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.)¹

     Charles Woodhill lived at New South Wales, Australia^G.¹

     Margaret Ruth Woodhill is the daughter of Charles Woodhill.² She married John Hastings Fairlie-Cuninghame, son of Sir William Edward Fairlie-Cuninghame of Robertland, 13th Bt. and Georgiana Maud Macartney, in 1934.¹
     From 1934, her married name became Fairlie-Cuninghame.
