Sir John Simon Every, 12th Bt. was born on 24 April 1914 at Aylsham, Norfolk, England.2,3 He was the son of Sir Edward Oswald Every, 11th Bt. and Ivy Linton Meller.2 He married, firstly, Annette Constance Drew on 14 September 1938.2 He and Annette Constance Drew were divorced in 1940.2 He married, secondly, Janet Marion Page, daughter of John Page, in 1943.2 He died on 3 November 1988 at age 74 at Derby, Derbyshire, England.2,3
He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, EnglandG.2 He fought in the Second World War.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Sherwood Foresters.2 He succeeded as the 12th Baronet Every, of Egginton, co. Derby [E., 1641] on 11 November 1959.2

A. du Toit, on 11 February 1950.1 He and Deirdre Veronica du Toit were divorced in 1953.1 He died on 15 June 2018 at age 102 at Casa Das Primas, Carvoeiro, Portugal.3
