     Nicholas Leke, 2nd Earl of Scarsdale was born on 1 October 1612.¹ He was the son of Francis Leke, 1st Earl of Scarsdale and Anne Cary.¹ He married Lady Frances Rich, daughter of Robert Rich, 2nd Earl of Warwick.¹ He died on 27 January 1681 at age 68.¹
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Deincourt, of Sutton, co. Derby [E., 1624] on 9 April 1665.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Earl of Scarsdale [E., 1645] on 9 April 1665.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Leke, of Sutton, co. Derby [E., 1611] on 9 April 1665.¹

     Francis Leke was the son of Francis Leke, 1st Earl of Scarsdale and Anne Cary.¹ He died at France^G, slain.¹

     Louisa Jane Pelly was the daughter of Charles Pelly and Julia Henrietta Dobbs.² She married Sir David Monro of Allan on 18 November 1865.¹ She died on 4 May 1929.¹
     From 18 November 1865, her married name became Monro.

     Sir David Monro of Allan married Louisa Jane Pelly, daughter of Charles Pelly and Julia Henrietta Dobbs, on 18 November 1865.¹ He died on 9 January 1909.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Madras Native Infantry.¹

     Edward Leke was the son of Francis Leke, 1st Earl of Scarsdale and Anne Cary.¹ He died, killed in action, ‘under the Royal banner’.¹

     Charles Leke was the son of Francis Leke, 1st Earl of Scarsdale and Anne Cary.¹ He died, killed in action, ‘under the Royal banner’.¹

     Albert Pelly was born on 3 September 1813 at West Ham, Essex, England^G.^1,2 He was the son of Sir John Henry Pelly, 1st Bt. and Emma Boulton.³ He married Barbara Ellen Streatfeild, daughter of Reverend Thomas Streatfeild and Harriet Champion, on 4 October 1844.¹ He died on 18 September 1894 at age 81.¹

     Reverend Thomas Streatfeild was born circa 1777.² He married Harriet Champion on 8 October 1800 at Long Ditton, Surrey, England.² He died on 17 May 1848 at Charts Edge, Westerham, Kent, England.²
     He lived at Charts Edge, Westerham, Kent, England^G.¹

     Barbara Ellen Streatfeild was baptised on 7 April 1814 at Battersea, Surrey, England^G.² She was the daughter of Reverend Thomas Streatfeild and Harriet Champion.^3,2 She married Albert Pelly, son of Sir John Henry Pelly, 1st Bt. and Emma Boulton, on 4 October 1844.¹ She died on 21 December 1898 at age 84.¹
     From 4 October 1844, her married name became Pelly.

     Albert Champion Pelly was born on 8 August 1845 at Snaresbrook, Essex, England^G.^1,2 He was the son of Albert Pelly and Barbara Ellen Streatfeild.³ He married Alice Ferguson, daughter of Charles Augustus Ferguson, on 25 September 1878.¹ He died on 16 March 1915 at age 69.¹
