Maurice Vyner Balliol Brett and Florence Harriet Zena Dones.³ He married Bay Helen Brownell, daughter of Charles Neville Brownell, on 2 October 1939.¹ He died on 6 February 1981 at age 67 at Wilton, Marlborough, Wiltshire, England.^1,2
     He was educated at Stowe School, Buckingham, Buckinghamshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Highland Regiment (Black Watch.)¹ He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1945.¹ He was the Steward between 1948 and 1977 at St. Bartholomew’s Hospital, London, England^G.¹
