     Eleanor Margaret Clarke was born on 6 February 1962 at Bermondsy, London, England^G.² She is the daughter of Barry Michael Clarke and Shirley Monteith Erskine.³

     David Wingfield Erskine was born on 5 December 1868.¹ He was the son of David Holland Erskine and Augusta Jane Stoddart.² He married Emily Margarette Blandy, daughter of John Burden Blandy and Margarette Faber, on 10 July 1899.¹ He died on 4 November 1931 at age 62.¹

     John Burden Blandy was born on 5 October 1841 at Madeira, Portugal^G.² He was the son of Charles Ridpath Blandy and Mary Anne Symonds.² He married, firstly, Margarette Faber, daughter of August Faber, on 22 August 1865.³ He married, secondly, Alice Gwendolen Davies-Berrington, daughter of Arthur Vendigaid Davies-Berrington and Frances Lennox Heneage Lane, on 24 October 1882.³ He died on 7 December 1912 at age 71 at Funchal, Madeira, Portugal^G.³

     Emily Margarette Blandy was born on 20 June 1869.² She was the daughter of John Burden Blandy and Margarette Faber.^3,2 She married David Wingfield Erskine, son of David Holland Erskine and Augusta Jane Stoddart, on 10 July 1899.¹ She died on 29 January 1904 at age 34.¹
     From 10 July 1899, her married name became Erskine.

     Winifred Erskine was born on 19 January 1901.¹ She was the daughter of David Wingfield Erskine and Emily Margarette Blandy.² She married Colonel Charles Maxwell Orr Sawers, son of Charles Dundas Sawers, on 18 October 1923.¹ She died in August 1993 at age 92 at County Durham, England.³
     From 18 October 1923, her married name became Sawers.
