     Nicholas Walter Geoffey Clapham was born in 1991.¹ He is the son of Stephen Geoffrey Clapham and Susan Nesta Rosemary Skrine.²

     Monica Sinclair Elton was born on 22 August 1907.¹ She was the daughter of Brig.-Gen. Frederick Algernon George Young Elton and Katherine Elizabeth Andrews.² She married, firstly, Lt.-Col. Malcolm Edward Durant Cumming, son of Charles Malcolm Cumming, on 20 August 1932.¹ She and Lt.-Col. Malcolm Edward Durant Cumming were divorced in 1966.¹ She married, secondly, Major Claude Robert Leetham, son of Alfred Leetham, on 15 December 1966.¹ She died on 21 January 1969 at age 61.¹
     From 20 August 1932, her married name became Cumming.¹ From 15 December 1966, her married name became Leetham.¹

     Lt.-Col. Malcolm Edward Durant Cumming is the son of Charles Malcolm Cumming.¹ He married Monica Sinclair Elton, daughter of Brig.-Gen. Frederick Algernon George Young Elton and Katherine Elizabeth Andrews, on 20 August 1932.¹ He and Monica Sinclair Elton were divorced in 1966.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 60th Rifles, Reserve of Officers.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹

     Robarts William Elton was the son of Jacob Elton and Charlotte Young.² He married, firstly, Ashley Holder, daughter of Henry Edward Holder, on 19 November 1831.¹ He married, secondly, Sarah (?) on 10 March 1857.¹ He died on 12 March 1861.¹
     He was in the Honourable East India Company Service.¹

     Henry Edward Holder lived at Barbados^G.¹ He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)¹

     Ashley Holder was the daughter of Henry Edward Holder.² She married Robarts William Elton, son of Jacob Elton and Charlotte Young, on 19 November 1831.¹ She died on 17 December 1855.¹
     From 19 November 1831, her married name became Elton.

     James Frederick Elton was born on 3 August 1840.¹ He was the son of Robarts William Elton and Ashley Holder.² He died on 19 December 1877 at age 37.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Bengal Army.¹ He gained the rank of officer in the French Army.¹ He was British Consul to Portuguese Africa in 1875.¹
