     Mary Jefferies was the daughter of Robert Jefferies.2 She married Sir Abraham Elton, 1st Bt., son of Isaac Elton and Elizabeth (?), on 11 September 1676.1 She died on 25 April 1728.1
     From 11 September 1676, her married name became Elton.

Sir Abraham Elton, 2nd Bt.1

     Sir Abraham Elton, 2nd Bt. was baptised on 30 June 1679.2 He was the son of Sir Abraham Elton, 1st Bt. and Mary Jefferies.2 He married Abigail Bayly, daughter of Zachary Bayly, on 14 May 1702.2 He died on 20 October 1742 at age 63.2
     He held the office of Sheriff of Bristol in 1710.2 He was Master Merchant Venturers.2 He held the office of Mayor of Bristol in 1719.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Taunton

between 1724 and 1727.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bristol between 1727 and 1742.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Elton, of Bristol [G.B., 1717] on 9 February 1727/28.2

     Jacob Elton was the son of Sir Abraham Elton, 1st Bt. and Mary Jefferies.2 He married, firstly, unknown Small.1 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Marchant, daughter of Edward Marchant, on 2 April 1739.1 He died on 15 June 1765.1
     He held the office of Mayor of Bristol in 1733.1
