     Leila Eliott Burton was born on 22 September 1926.¹ She is the daughter of Frank V. Burton and Beatrice Maud Boswell Eliott.² She married, firstly, Arthur Twining Hadley II on 2 March 1944.¹ She and Arthur Twining Hadley II were divorced in 1946.¹ She married, secondly, Yvor Hyatt Smitter on 24 January 1953.¹
     From 2 March 1944, her married name became Hadley.¹ From 24 January 1953, her married name became Smitter.

     Arthur Twining Hadley II married Leila Eliott Burton, daughter of Frank V. Burton and Beatrice Maud Boswell Eliott, on 2 March 1944.¹ He and Leila Eliott Burton were divorced in 1946.¹

     Arthur Twining Hadley III was born on 24 February 1945.¹ He is the son of Arthur Twining Hadley II and Leila Eliott Burton.²

     Yvor Hyatt Smitter married Leila Eliott Burton, daughter of Frank V. Burton and Beatrice Maud Boswell Eliott, on 24 January 1953.¹

     Matthew Boswell Eliott Burton Smitter was born on 7 July 1955.¹ He is the son of Yvor Hyatt Smitter and Leila Eliott Burton.²

     Victoria C. Van Duzer Smitter was born on 21 November 1953.¹ She is the daughter of Yvor Hyatt Smitter and Leila Eliott Burton.²

     Caroline Allison Faith Smitter was born on 6 March 1959.¹ She is the daughter of Yvor Hyatt Smitter and Leila Eliott Burton.²

     Annabella Carmichael is the daughter of Neil Carmichael.² She married Alexander Boswell Eliott, son of Sir William Francis Eliott of Stobs, 7th Bt. and Theresa Boswell, on 29 November 1858.¹
     From 29 November 1858, her married name became Eliott.¹
