     Sir John Eliott of Stobs, 4th Bt. was born on 27 July 1705.1 He was the son of Sir Gilbert Eliott of Stobs, 3rd Bt. and Eleanor Elliot.2 He married Mary Andrews.1 He died on 31 December 1767 at age 62.1
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Eliott, of Stobs [N.S., 1666] on 27 May 1764.1

William Eliott1

     William Eliott was born on 29 August 1706.1 He was the son of Sir Gilbert Eliott of Stobs, 3rd Bt. and Eleanor Elliot.2 He died before 12 May 1779, without issue.1 His will was proven (by probate) on 12 May 1779.1

     He was Secretary of Ramsgate Harbour.1 He was a merchant at London, EnglandG.1

     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1

Lt.-Gen. George Eliott, 1st Baron Heathfield of Gibraltar

     Lt.-Gen. George Augustus Eliott, 1st Baron Heathfield of Gibraltar was born on 14 December 1717.1 He was the son of Sir Gilbert Eliott of Stobs, 3rd Bt. and Eleanor Elliot.3 He married Anne Pollexfen Drake, daughter of Sir Francis Henry Drake, 4th Bt. and Anne Heathcote, on 10 June 1748.1 He died on 6 July 1790 at age 72.1
     He was appointed Knight, Order of the Bath (K.B.)4 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-General.1 Between June 1779 and 1783 he defended Gibraltar against the French.1 He was created 1st Baron Heathfield of Gibraltar, of Heathfield, Sussex [Great Britain] on 14 June 1787.1

     Sir Francis Henry Drake, 4th Bt. was the son of Sir Francis Drake, 3rd Bt. and Elizabeth Pollexfen.2 He married Anne Heathcote, daughter of Samuel Heathcote and Mary Dawsonne.2 He died on 26 January 1739/40.2
     He lived at Buckland, Devon, EnglandG.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Drake, of Buckland Monachorum, co. Devon [E., 1622] in 1714.2
