     His line is extinct.¹ He lived at Hartsgarth, Scotland^G, called ‘Robyns Will.¹‘

     Gilbert Elliot of Stobs was the son of Robert Elwald of the Redheugh and Jean Scot.² He married Margaret Scott, daughter of Walter Scott of Harden and Mary Scott.¹ He died on 24 June 1634.¹
     In 1607 he bought Stobs from the heirs of his stepfather Gavin Elliot of Stobs.¹ He lived at Stobs, Scottish Borders, Scotland.²

     Archibald Ellot is the son of Robert Elwald of the Redheugh and Jean Scot.²

     Gavin Ellot was the son of Robert Elwald of the Redheugh and Jean Scot.² He married Margaret Chisholm.¹ He died circa 20 October 1631.¹
     He was ancestor of the Elliots of Brugh and Wells.¹

     Margaret Chisholm married Gavin Ellot, son of Robert Elwald of the Redheugh and Jean Scot.¹
     Her married name became Ellot.

     Joe Primmer is the son of Roy Charles Primmer.¹

     Margaret Scott is the daughter of Walter Scott of Harden and Mary Scott.² She married Gilbert Elliot of Stobs, son of Robert Elwald of the Redheugh and Jean Scot.¹
     Her married name became Elliot.¹

     William Eliott was the son of Gilbert Elliot of Stobs and Margaret Scott.² A contract for the marriage of William Eliott and Elizabeth Douglas was signed on 28 November 1621.¹ He died in July 1654.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Roxburgh between 1640 and 1651.¹

     Gilbert Eliott was the son of Gilbert Elliot of Stobs and Margaret Scott.² A contract for the marriage of Gilbert Eliott and Alison Kerr was signed on 16 March 1638.¹ He died in February 1690, without issue.¹
     He lived at Craigend, Scotland^G.¹

     A contract for the marriage of Alison Kerr and Gilbert Eliott was signed on 16 March 1638.¹
     From 16 March 1638, her married name became Eliott.
