     Sir John Assheton Eardley-Wilmot, 5th Bt. was born on 2 January 1917.¹ He was the son of Commander Frederick Neville Eardley-Wilmot and Dorothy Little.² He married Diana Elizabeth Moore, daughter of Commander Aubrey Edward Duncombe Moore, on 23 June 1939.¹ He died on 20 December 1995 at age 78 at Fulham, London, England.^1,3
     He was educated at Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, Devon, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.) in 1943.¹ He gained the rank of Commander in 1950.¹ He was commander of the H.M.S. Opossum between 1951 and 1953.¹ He was appointed Lieutenant, Royal Victorian Order (L.V.O.) in 1957.¹ He was with the Monopolies Commission between 1967 and 1982.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society of Arts (F.R.S.A.) in 1970.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Eardley-Wilmot, of Berkswell Hall, co. Warwick [U.K., 1821] on 9 February 1970.¹

     Commander Aubrey Edward Duncombe Moore was born on 16 November 1879 at Northamptonshire, England.² He died on 9 October 1946 at age 66.²
     He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.¹

     Diana Elizabeth Moore was the daughter of Commander Aubrey Edward Duncombe Moore.² She married Sir John Assheton Eardley-Wilmot, 5th Bt., son of Commander Frederick Neville Eardley-Wilmot and Dorothy Little, on 23 June 1939.¹ She died on 4 July 2006.³
     From 23 June 1939, her married name became Eardley-Wilmot. She lived in 2003 at 41 Margravine Gardens, London, England^G.¹

     Patricia Enid Eardley-Wilmot was born on 12 October 1944.¹ She is the daughter of Sir John Assheton Eardley-Wilmot, 5th Bt. and Diana Elizabeth Moore.² She married Lieutenant Andrew McMeekan, son of Thomas McMeekan, on 30 July 1966.¹ She and Lieutenant Andrew McMeekan were divorced.³
     From 30 July 1966, her married name became McMeekan. She lived in 2003 at 41 Margravine Gardens, London, England^G.¹

     Thomas McMeekan lived at Earl’s Court, London, England^G.¹

     Lieutenant Andrew McMeekan was born circa 1942.² He was the son of Thomas McMeekan.³ He married, firstly, Patricia Enid Eardley-Wilmot, daughter of Sir John Assheton Eardley-Wilmot, 5th Bt. and Diana Elizabeth Moore, on 30 July 1966.¹ He and Patricia Enid Eardley-Wilmot were divorced.² He married, secondly, Hon. Sarah Ann Vivien de la Poer Beresford, daughter of Arthur George Marcus Douglas de la Poer Beresford, 6th Baron Decies and Diana Mary Turner-Cain, in 1992.³ He died on 15 August 2010.²
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Navy.¹ He lived at Montgeard, France.²

     Emily Charlotte McMeekan was born in 1974.¹ She is the daughter of Lieutenant Andrew McMeekan and Patricia Enid Eardley-Wilmot.²

     Isabel Heloise McMeekan was born in 1978.¹ She is the daughter of Lieutenant Andrew McMeekan and Patricia Enid Eardley-Wilmot.²

     Major Anthony Neville Eardley-Wilmot was born on 24 March 1918.¹ He was the son of Commander Frederick Neville Eardley-Wilmot and Dorothy Little.² He died on 23 March 1943 at age 24 at North Africa^G, killed in action.¹
     He was educated at St. Paul’s School, London, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Northumberland Fusiliers, attached to 6th Durham Light Infantry.¹

     Michael Eardley-Wilmot was born on 29 July 1924.¹ He is the son of Commander Frederick Neville Eardley-Wilmot and Dorothy Little.² He married Sylvia Irish, daughter of Arthur Irish, on 10 February 1956.¹
     He lived in 2003 at 2 Mittara Road, Terrigal, New South Wales, Australia^G.¹
