He married Estelle de Saint-Romain, daughter of Pierre de Saint-Romain and Nora Boucharlat, on 28 April 2007 at Montgirod^G in a civil marriage.¹ Karl Christian and Estelle were also married in a religious ceremony on 2 June 2007 at Voiron^G.¹
