     Rudolf Syringus Erzherzog von Österreich was born on 5 September 1919 at Villa Prangins, Gland, Switzerland^G.³ He was the son of Karl I Kaiser von Österreich and Zita Maria delle Grazie di Borbone, Principessa di Parma.¹ He married, firstly, Countess Xenia Sergeievna Czernicheva-Besobrasova, daughter of Count Sergei Aleksandrovich Czernichev-Besobrasov and grafinya Yelizaveta Dimitrievna Sheremeteva, on 22 June 1953 at Tuxedo Park, Orange County, New York, U.S.A.^G.⁴ He married, secondly, Anna Gabriele Prinzessin von Wrede, daughter of Carl V Fürst von Wrede, on 15 October 1971 at Ellingen, Bayern, Germany^G.⁵ He died on 15 May 2010 at age 90 at Brussels, Belgium^G.⁶
